Red Deer Artwalk Festival Jun 16 to 21 The festival starts with Artists-About-Town. During the week visual artists will be working their skills in the most unlikely places. Other events include the Artwalk Amble bus tour on Thursday and the Film Night on Friday. Saturday, the 21st is a fun-filled day of visual art demonstrations, Art Market and live music in a full festival setting. Bring the whole family and take home some art!

Jul 16 to 20 Red Deer's Westerner Days takes place in July for five days; the fair kicks off annually with the Westerner Days Parade early in the morning on the first day. Plenty of excitement and entertainment follows throughout the fair including midway rides, concerts, agriculture pavilions, chuckwagon races, a creative arts centre, a casino, children's exhibits and more.
